A Classic Barrington Hall Engagement Session in Roswell, Ga.

Engagements

After a few reschedules thanks to flu season and unpredictable Georgia weather, these two finally got the engagement session they deserved. It was absolutely worth the wait and could not have been more perfect.

We met at Barrington Hall on a beautiful evening filled with warm sunshine and glowing light. From the moment they arrived everything felt effortless. Their classic style paired perfectly with the timeless charm of the location.

What I loved most about their session wasn’t the location or even the sunset, it was their story. These two have known each other since they were in the 8th grade! There is something incredibly special about photographing a couple with that much shared history. They were so natural with each other. You can tell they have spent years growing alongside one another.

After their session, the Sydney sent me a message that made me so happy. She let me know that Adam usually hates having his photo taken, but that after their engagement session he mentioned that he actually had fun and that maybe wedding photos won’t be so bad. That is one of the best compliments to receive!

Now that I’ve seen their wedding inspiration filled with shades of pink and green, I’m even more excited for their wedding at Carlyle House in October.

If their engagement session is any indication of what their wedding day is going to be like, it will be absolutely beautiful. I cannot wait to document the next chapter of their story!
